Agent Spotlight: Lydia Rajunas

By RE/MAX of New England - Last updated: Monday, January 23, 2012

RE/MAX of New England would like to recognize Lydia Rajunas from RE/MAX Executive Realty in Holliston, MA for her outstanding achievements in 2011.  Her genuine ambition to help people in such a pivotal time of their life, along with her personalized style of client services, has proven to be quite beneficial.  She attributes part of her success to the Brian Buffini classes that her Broker/Owners, Chuck Joseph and Bill Wright, brought to their RE/MAX office a few years ago.  In addition, her mentor, great coaching and support, and a persevering attitude have helped her become the amazing Agent she is today.  In light of the New Year, Lydia has made some general practices in which she will focus on during 2012.  Her top 5 resolutions are:

    1. Keep a positive attitude – Continue to build momentum for the coming year2. Stay connected with clients – Cultivate and sustain relationships3. Be a personal concierge – Always remember your clients’ wants and needs

    4. Continue to give back to others

    5. Dedicate time to work and to play – There is a delicate balance between work and play, and you always need both in your life

This year is dedicated to making changes for the best, staying positive, connecting and reconnecting with clients.  Lydia continues to make connections with clients she has previously helped.  She understands that real estate is all about building your network, which cannot be done overnight.  When you help a client it’s important to continue to cultivate that relationship as they may need help in the future or refer you to a friend.

What Lydia loves most about our industry is “helping people with their real estate issues, whatever they may be!”  She considers herself a concierge because she assists others, is an expert and helps people to achieve their dreams, whether buying or selling a home, relocating, or investing.

Lydia has a self-motivating and determined mindset, which helps her in her professional and personal life.  “A little voice inside me gets me up and out every day!  It may just be a kind of self-discipline that no coach or teach can give you – maybe it’s from my days of being an opera singer – but I always feel an urgency to get to the office and start my day.”  As she enters her ninth year in real estate and with RE/MAX, we know she will do great!  We will leave you with these parting words, “What are your 2012 New Year’s resolutions, and how will you stick to them?”

Agent Spotlight: Joseph Kobialka

By RE/MAX of New England - Last updated: Monday, December 26, 2011

RE/MAX of New England would like to recognize Joseph Kobialka from RE/MAX Destiny in Cambridge, MA, as the Agent of the Month.  Joseph has been in the real estate industry for 25 years.  His personal and professional philosophy is to provide the best service possible to his clients, and to give back to the community he is involved in.  His positive outlook on servicing his clients and community is reflective in how he defines success.  “I would define success as attaining personal goals and leaving a very positive image on others in doing so,” remarked Joseph.

Joseph’s office, RE/MAX Destiny, is a Miracle Office, meaning every Agent donates a certain dollar amount per transaction to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.  According to Joseph, “When clients know your values and philanthropic involvement, it instills a positive image of yourself so that definitely helps from a business perspective.”  RE/MAX Destiny Agents, including Joseph, toured the Children’s Hospital in Boston almost a month ago.  Besides the best medical care and most technically advanced medical equipment the hospital provides, the care for the children and families is incredible.  When asked what advice Joseph had for others who wanted to get involved in the Miracle System he said, “I would encourage others to donate because donations directly affect hospitals locally.  Take a tour of the hospital and you can see the power of giving back.”

If you’d like to get involved with the Children’s Miracle Network go to Mainstreet >> Marketing >> Giving Back >> Follow steps to get to the Miracle System.

Agent Spotlight: Margo Otey

By RE/MAX of New England - Last updated: Monday, November 28, 2011

Margo Otey

RE/MAX of New England would like to recognize Margo Otey of RE/MAX Executive Realty in Hopkinton, MA, as the Agent of the Month! Margo joined RE/MAX in 1992, and has committed herself to bettering her business and excelling her career through positive buyer and seller experiences.

Real Estate is a competitive business, and Margo understands that in order to be successful, you need to differentiate yourself, your business model and your branding strategies. Margo constructed a website with a strong personal branding concept incorporating her passion of racing themed landing pages, business cards and blog postings. Her hobby of racing with her father became her branding platform as she thought it would leave clients with a brand image that they would remember. Margo has also excelled at creating a blog with compelling content. She explained, “Blogging is my way to express an opinion or share Real Estate advice with a larger audience than strictly those people who intentionally come my way.” She uses her blog to include listings as a promotional tool to drive traffic to herself as an Agent, but also to her open houses.

If you are looking to brand yourself and share your ideas by blogging, Margo recommends you take a personal stand on some issue, pose a question and then answer it in your own words. For example, she blogged about the following, “Is it an Open House, or a Job Interview?” Her creative ideas and use of words continue to bring her success.
