REALTOR Swayed by RE/MAX’s Cutting Edge Technology and Brand Recognition

FRAMINGHAM, MA (May 7, 2012) – RE/MAX Best Choice is pleased to welcome residential real estate expert and REALTOR John Popp to their team. Popp was recently recruited to join the RE/MAX family by Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Best Choice Annette Norton. Popp produced more than $10 million in sales last year at Coldwell-Banker and within ten days of starting at RE/MAX has produced $2 million in new business.

“It goes without saying that John is an incredible asset to RE/MAX,” said Dan Breault, Executive Vice President and Regional Director of RE/MAX of New England. “His expertise in residential sales combined with his drive for success is invaluable and we’re extremely excited to welcome him to the team.”

Popp made the decision to work for RE/MAX after speaking with the RE/MAX Best Choice team. He found all of the Agents in the office to be extremely professional and the overall culture of the company incredibly positive. He was impressed by everyone’s ability to be so like-minded and forward thinking and still have an understanding of the big picture for their clients and the company.

“We are all thrilled that John has decided to join RE/MAX Best Choice,” said Norton. “He is a great addition to the office and it feels like he’s always been a part of the team.”

Popp brings more than ten years of real estate experience to his new role as an Agent/REALTOR at RE/MAX Best Choice. He’s spent a large portion of his career working at Coldwell-Banker and briefly worked at Realty Executive.
“I’ve always wanted to be affiliated with the RE/MAX brand because it is so well regarded in the industry and after meeting with Annette I knew that this was the perfect opportunity for me,” said Popp. “RE/MAX is number one in the business and they offer the most cutting edge technology available to Agents, which will help the entire team produce new leads and generate business.”

Popp currently resides in Natick with his wife Cynthia and three sons.

Yesterday, over 90 RE/MAX Associates and members of the RE/MAX of New England team, including myself, attended the Collection Speaker Series event at the Mandarin Hotel in Boston, MA. David Collins, luxury expert and Found of Real Marketing, discussed how to successfully brand and market properties in the high-end market. I listened attentively to David’s entire presentation, and wrote down a few key takeaways I’d like to share with you:

1. Content and consistency are the most important elements with marketing yourself in the high-end market (and really any market)
2. It’s a necessity to personalize everything, even your call to action
3. It’s important not to dilute your brand, meaning if you brand yourself as an expert in the luxury market, you should not be using the same marketing materials for the low to mid range listings
4. To attract high-end buyers and sellers you need to dress for success

According to David Collins, if you follow his general guidelines then you will have unprecedented success. Just remember that in order to be successful in the luxury Real Estate market requires different strategies and a different mindset!

If you’d like to see his presentation, please email me. I’d be happy to share it with you!
